It is far and away the closest to the old wart sound. I'm just a little concerned about the durability.

I do so poorly with a wart that I'm not really tempted by all the wart knockoffs. I blame Dave and the Ned rig for that. Feels really strange not to be interested in new baits. At least not these.

It's a JDM bait made in China. That explains why it's $10 instead of $20.

So last week, one local gas station had gasoline for $1.34 a gallon. less than a mile away another station had gas for $1.69 a gallon. I bought the $1.69 gas because IF it costs more, it must be better.

I've called two different places that are big time Megabass (one in AZ and I think the other is in TN or AL) and both told me they couldn't get them here for whatever reason. When I find old warts at a price I'm willing to pay plus get them painted and fresh hardware I'm out $25-30 I figured it'd take a shot at trying them but haven't been able to yet. I picked up a Griffon DD a few weeks ago. Haven't used it yet but it sounds like they put about a whole shotgun shell worth of BB's inside of it. 

I'm interested to see how the Drunker holds up though. Almost bought some when they got released but held off. It amazes me how all these companies spend all this money trying to imitate a wart.

I'm much more amazed that Storm/Rapala can't imitate a wart.

You would have to order the MB from overseas. That and the $25-30 shipped price stopped me. I ordered some other items from one of the companies that has them and they shipped exactly as advertised. No worries there. Not sure they would get here by March at this point.

I put the Drunker next to the Megabass and did the shake test. Pretty similar low end rattles, but the Megabass seems to have an additional higher pitched rattle that the Drunker doesn't have. The Drunker wins the prize for being closer to the original Wart sound.
