Here's the latest... it keeps moving east, past our basin.  4-5 inches of rain over 3 days is nothing, especially seeing how dry the ground is.

I hope, I hope, I hope. I'd love for us to ONLY get 5 inches of rain. I'm legal to fish Taneycomo until 2-28-17 so I might have to head that way again.

Look flatlander!, I've all ready played this game for months where my fishing is impacted by a crazy rain event. I'm ready to just have normal weather. I just want to catch my fish and do my thing.

Y'all can not imagine how happy I am that the rain largely missed us.

BUT My friends and family in Southern Arkansas and Northern Louisiana were not as lucky. Historic flooding. Lots of homes and vehicles flooded. Roads washed out. Lives lost .Awful.

Glad it missed us in east central MO as well.  20 inches in some parts of Louisiana.  Crazy

I am not going to complain about the rain myself. Good Lord knows we need it. When I was younger, I just bundled up and went fishing anyway. These days, not so much. Some of our lakes and ramps are closed now after this weeks rain. It isn't as bad here as I have seen on the news in other states. Pray everyone stays safe.
