Bassmaster Elite Bull Shoals/Norfork Logistics

Has anyone seen how they are going to address the moving of boats back and forth between the two lakes in relation to zebra mussels?   Are they going to have a system to ensure they are fully dried?  Fish Norfork first and then Bull Shoals?  Just was kicking this around at the break table today and was wondering if you guys might have heard.

They are switching things around so that they only have to clean a small numbers of boats. I had it explained to me and it made sense at the time, but I've slept since then.

Probably will be a few spectator boats moving between the lakes also.

Unfortunately in my opinion if the transfer will happen in this way it probably already has happened in some capacity. I'm sure plenty of the locals especially during white bass season pay no attention and jump back and forth between the lakes with out ever pulling the drain plug and just bilging as needed.

We (AGFC) and MDC have been working closely with BASS to minimize the potential of ZM being transferred from Bull to Norfork during this event. They have even changed the schedule around to minimize the potential spread.

I am sure they will wash and clean their boats everyday before and after practice TOO!!!

Can the MDC help us avoid any unwanted transfer of stripers into BSL? ?

First day on Norfork next 2 days on Bull only top 12 return to Norfork on Sun for final day.
