roy_eros Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 Ed I was thinking they had somewhere around 700-800 fisherman last year but it's been a while so I could have forgotten. That probably translated into 300 boats or so each day on the water. Some guys only fish one day or the other. The lake is usually pretty busy that weekend but everyone spreads out across the lake pretty well.

I am unsure if it's a new transom or transom repair, but there is some structure rework going on! Lower unit, prop, etc. as well

Expand I think last year there were ballpark 600 participants. It seems to go up every year so I would guess they may be more again this year. Heck, even Champ is fishing it! He carries such a big stick that is like 10 boats right there the way he chews up water. There is no "launch site" as you may launch anywhere you wish and be on the water but may not cast or wet a line until the official start of the tournament in which you receive via text to your phone. There is only one weigh in sight though which is the BPS Long Creek Marina (Old Gage's Marina). I believe you are allowed to trailer at anytime during the tournament including to the weigh in at Long Creek. Rules are posted on the Big Bass site. I'm sure Mark can chime in on # of participants last year and projection for this year. I'll be there and look forward to it. Nitro 750 and Champ188 2

Big Bass Tour Posted March 25, 2016 Author Posted March 25, 2016 We had around 600 anglers last year (300 boats) and expect the number to be close to the same. You may launch at the ramp of your choice as was previously noted. Look forward to seeing everyone next week! Can't wait! Champ188 1
