MOPanfisher Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 Only if those Asian carp were cleverly disguised as spoonbill. the places I have been I have never seen an Asian carp. Thinking about Brown Bend on LOZ and The City Harbor at Warsaw. 3 or so years ago at Browns Bend there was a gentlemen in the parking lot trying his best to give away a spoonbill he had caught. I commend him for trying to find someone to take it but taking home a spoonbill that you didn't get to catch is sort of like non-alcoholic beer, what's the point. I will admit that I have eaten spoonbill I thought was good, once. I was given a couple well trimmed slabs and put them in the smoker and coated them with lemon pepper. Fresh off the smoker it was OK, but once it cooled and you put some good BBQ sauce on it, heck it was good.
