Jbrant Posted March 30, 2016 Posted March 30, 2016 Put in on the Gravois this morning. Ran about 1/2 way down and started fishing in the back of a small creek. Caught a few fish there on a wobblehead. Moved on and got into some wind. Started catching some solid keepers on the spinnerbait in the wind. Fish were pretty shallow on wind blown banks. Mainly on smaller points with mixed rock. Some off dock corners, others out on the rock. Made multiple passes on most of them and would pick up another fish or two. Caught a 7.2 around lunch. She was a little deeper, caught her slow rolling a spinnerbait off a point in the wind. Caught a lot of 14-16" fish all morning - mostly on the spinnerbait. Best 5 went a little over 17. Pretty aggressive bites. Sun came out after lunch and we made a run down into the Osage chasing some wind. Bite died off as the day went. Water temps were 48-53. A couple of feet of visibility where we fished in the Gravois. Osage was a little dirtier than that. WeekendWarrior, Seth, MOsmallies and 2 others 5
