Johnsfolly Posted April 26, 2016 Posted April 26, 2016 I usually don't let it go for more than a week without taking down, cleaning, and refilling our feeders. rps 1

rps Posted May 8, 2016 Posted May 8, 2016 We are at the stand in line point here at Holiday Island. Two weeks ago nothing. Now, hummingbird combat to feed. tho1mas 1
Johnsfolly Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 We have at least a male and female at our feeders. The male did a stare down with my wife when she was sitting on our porch under the feeder. She moved to that side of the porch to allow the goldfinches to get back into the thistle seed. tho1mas 1
Old plug Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 I counted 9 last evening all fussing about a skngle feeder on the corner of the house when there are 2 other feeders as well not far away. Johnsfolly 1
tho1mas Posted May 10, 2016 Author Posted May 10, 2016 What few hb's I have wait their turn because of the downy woodpeckers. The hummers don't seem to like peckers or wasps. So far, my ant protection cans are working.
