Today was one of those days where the fish were scattered and would hit some different baits, but never could find that hot bait or location.  Caught 18 fish (I count them in my head, no clicker).  maybe a half dozen were keepers, but I doubt any of them were over 16".  Ned, c-rig UV speed craw, and a wobblehead with a Structure Bug caught the fish.  Some on main lake gravel points, some in coves - didn't so much good on steep chunk rock.

Saw a couple of beds back in a cove.

Caught smallies, LM's, Spots, and one mean.

Water temps were 54-57, water still green stained.

nice fishing Quillback, glad you got out there and got into them today, I never seen any beds over the weekend, I'm sure that is about to change though, I went and was throwing a senko Sunday early and had some takers, I really enjoy throwing that bait, should start heating up soon heh??

Thanks Quill.  I'm going to try Thur. Evening out of KC and test my skills on this spinnerbait bite I've read about. Love throwing it and finding where the aggressive fish are.

For the record, my spinnerbait bite was nowhere near Kimberling City. But it just might work in that area, too.

Quill, thank you for the information. It is almost wacky time. With those beds in the coves and the water temp in the mid 50s, maybe the length of daylight plays a bigger role than the water temp. IMO seems like the fish know what they are supposed to be doing. We just have to follow their lead. You have been on that bottom bite pretty good this spring. Well done.
