vernon Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 Heading down on Saturday for two weeks and will be staying near Indian Point. We would like to run over to Bull Shoals for a day or maybe two while there. We haven't fished Bull in probably close to ten years now and when we did we always stayed down on the dam end. Only place near the upper end that we've been was Diamond City and, again, was a long time ago. If anyone could provide some recommendations/directions on where the best places to put in might be we'd be most appreciative! "Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups." Dylan Cluver Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 I'm sure you will get some info here on bull shoals. Just know bull shoals has zebra mussels and table rock does not. Yet. Please be careful and take preventative measures if going back and forth. mojorig and mixermarkb 2 No one gripes about obese fish.
vernon Posted April 18, 2016 Author Posted April 18, 2016 Absolutely! Thanks for the reminder. "Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups." George Carlin "The only money ever wasted is money never spent." Me.
Members yellowgtman Posted April 19, 2016 Members Posted April 19, 2016 From Indian point i'd look at the K dock area or if you want to drive a little further the tucker area is good fishing.
vernon Posted April 20, 2016 Author Posted April 20, 2016 Those were the two that I thought looked the most practical but wasn't sure what I'd find when I got there. Driving's not really an issue but then again didn't want to drive past good areas just because I didn't know any better. I'm pretty sure that Lead Hill is the farthest up the lake that I've been previously. Thanks for the input. "Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups." Champ188 Posted April 20, 2016 Posted April 20, 2016 I can't imagine any good reason to go farther east than Lead Hill. There's a heckuva lot good fishing from there westward to K Dock.
Jerry Rapp Posted April 21, 2016 Posted April 21, 2016 Yocum Creek. It is between Tucker and K-Dock, on the other side of the lake.
