Then why the f*** didn't they do it tonight?  Explain why they seemed to be surprised by the first period Dallas energy and onslaught.

Because they were scared...nobody  in the collective group other than Broewer know about hockey in May. Elliott  is toast, obviously Dallas is gonna go high glove side on his butt. The Blues fans talk dung like oh well, we will just win game 7 on the road???? Seriously  do you people watch the playoffs??

Good luck to the Blues in game 7 on the road....hopefully putting yourself  in a bad position is the motivation  you need to come out raging.....if so it's  a stupid strategy.

Elliott. .....wow.....The Blues also should be having Beumiester arrested for stealing, it's  obvious  his no trade and salary is KILLING us.

As much of a Blues fan as I am that first period was an embarrassment and should put Hitchcock at the buffet line where he belongs.

I agree on Bouwmeester.  He coughs up the puck a lot, doesn't have a shot, and trips and falls down at the most inopportune times. Third goal could have been prevented if he stays on his feet last night.  Clear the puck like they need to and the 2nd goal never happens.  The semi-break for the first goal Elliott should have had...

Blues get the puck up and they win 5-3.  Leihtenen stood on his head to keep the Stars in that game.  Also, why wasn't Reaves playing last night?  He really seems to have gotten under the Star's skin in the games he has played in this series.

I'm gonna need to make sure I refill the vodka before tomorrow night.

I think the Blues can and probably will win tomorrow night, but winning three in a row on the road is tough.

I think they'll go back to Edmunson on D, and I bet they put Ott in there on the fourth line. I don't think Hitch trusts Reaves enough not to take a stupid penalty, and Jaskin wasn't exceptionally noticeable last night. Heck I'd like to see Rattie maybe get a shot, that forward's only playing like 7-8 minutes a game anyway.

Or, how about Tarasenko making a play? score a goal? not disappear?

Your best players are needed to be your best players. Otherwise, you are relying on others to pick up the slack, which happens infrequently.

Agree. Just sepculating on lineup changes. Schwartz, Stasny, and Fabbri all had chances to tie that game that they needed to bury.

It's put up or shut up time tonight.

No Cup for Oshie this year.  Caps eliminated in 6 last night by the Pens.
