176champion Posted May 9, 2016 Posted May 9, 2016 Looks like rain most of the week...so what does the OAF weather man have to say...oh by the way according to weather guy we in a drought we 3 inches behind here in Missouri... I know everything about nothing and know nothing about everything! Bruce Philips
Quillback Posted May 9, 2016 Posted May 9, 2016 Just looked at the Accuweather forecast and it doesn't look too bad except for today and Wednesday. But you know how it goes with weather forecasts around here. We need some rain here in NWA as long as it is not accompanied by hail and twisters. Donna G, huntest, Muddy Water and 2 others 5
Champ188 Posted May 9, 2016 Posted May 9, 2016 Rainy days are the days to fish, especially on clear highlands lakes like Table Rock. With the cloud cover, the topwater bite can last all day. Just be careful about severe weather and look around ahead of time for an open dock slip to duck into. Hunter53, mjk86, Donna G and 3 others 6

chi0082 Posted May 9, 2016 Posted May 9, 2016 Rainy days are my favorite days to be on the water. As long as no lightning or tornadoes are involved, I'm out there. mixermarkb 1
m&m Posted May 9, 2016 Posted May 9, 2016 I've often wondered how a baseball player who gets a hit 3 times out of ten and a weather forecaster who gets it right 50% of the time are considered good at their job. Kind of like those who fish, some days we win and some days the fish wins. Mike mixermarkb and Muddy Water 2
96 CHAMP Posted May 9, 2016 Posted May 9, 2016 I agree completely with Champ 188, my best days are rainy and cloud covered on TR. I get my boat back tomorrow but have previous commitments unfortunately this week and weekend. Good luck fishing and stay safe!! Champ188 1
176champion Posted May 9, 2016 Author Posted May 9, 2016 I dont mind a little rain and or the overcast, but that lightning is some bad stuff.....knew of several guys in Florida that got hit by lightning out in there boats and it was called blue sky lightning, the storm had passed and the skys where blue and out of no where lightning struck them and they where not using a fishing pole either they where pulling there mullet nets in...weird...If my new tach shows up early enough i may be out there on the water. I know everything about nothing and know nothing about everything! Bruce Philips
