League declined to address the cheap shot to Rust. Players may take matters into their own hands if this stuff happens again.

The pressure ratchets up with every game. The Game 1 win was huge, but the Pens need another win tonight. It's business as usual until the home team loses and then the drama really starts. THIS Penguins team will do the hard work every game; hopefully that leads to 4 wins in this series. I hope the Pens get some Puck Luck. They had a lot of chances where a stick just barely deflected the puck or the puck just barely caught Jones pad instead of getting to the net.

If Martin Jones keeps giving the Pens those juicy rebounds, Hornqvist will get some goals, Kunitz will get some too. Not to mention Kessel.

I blindside hit with a shoulder to his head. Not a legal check. I  get that checking is a part of the game. I don't think that concussions from hits when the head is targeted should be a part of the game.

Woot Woot! Pens were the better team again. They stressed me out again because Martin Jones stops too many of the shots. Sooooo, they had to go to OT to get things done.

Fun stat: 90% of the teams that start 2-0 go on to win the Cup. One game at a time, but let's see if the Pens can steal a game in San Jose.

I'm starting to get annoyed with the San Jose's coach. He basically continues to say, we're The better team we just haven't played well enough yet. He very reluctantly gives the Pens any credit.

Finished watching the game last night (I had recorded it).  IMO the Pens are just better than the Sharks.

They certainly were the first two games. That can change in a hurry BUT I really believe This Pens team has bought in to the Coach's system and they are going to continue to work hard and play team hockey. They are taking a minimum amount of penalties which is HUGE. I think besides a late flukey goal the only way the Sharks beat the Pens is with Power Play goals. Don't give the Sharks many Power Play chances and do fairly well on the PK and it should be good.

IF and it is a BIG IF, the Pens can steal one game in the Shark Tank, it is pretty much over. They say the hardest win to get is the 4 th one though.

2-1 end of the second. Looks favorable for the Pens thus far. Though San Jose looked better in the 2nd than they did in the first period. Hope that the Pens play the third like they in game 1 and take a win in the shark tank. After 2.5 days in the hospital, just can't watch the end of this game tonight. Thank goodness for DVR.

Go Pens!

Alas for what might have been. The Pens were so close to making this a foregone conclusion, but a couple of small mistakes lead to a soft goal that tied things up and then a no hum puck slung at the net in OT ended it.

i was pleased with the play and effort of the Pens in this game. sharks were better than in previous games, but not really better than the Pens. I still hope they can steal the next one in San Jose.
