Members littlejasper Posted June 23, 2016 Members Posted June 23, 2016 Thought I would share. Marking lots of these in 15' - 20', especially around brush. Caught several very close to this, but this was the "stud" of the bunch. Had a really good day on the spoon. Had three keeper blacks, best a little over four. 17" brownie, and several good K's. Best five to weigh all on the spoon. Dixie Jet, 3/4oz in the docks. Need thirty foot or better for quality bites. 14 lbs today. Best weight in a month. Would have more pics, but trying to use GoPro and all but one on video. Sorry for blurry pic. 5bites, dtrs5kprs, dan hufferd and 2 others 5
Quillback Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 I can't catch a goggle eye in that lake. I bet some of the BFL guys will be fishing some docks.
Ketchup Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 Nice catches. Like quill said, those things elude myself. TinBoats BassClub. An aluminum only bass club. If interested in info send me a PM.

Champ188 Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 I've never eaten any but they sure look like they'd be good. Gonna have to try em someday.
rps Posted June 24, 2016 Posted June 24, 2016 Just like blue gill, they are about as good as it gets. Except for yellow perch and walleye, of course. Johnsfolly, Champ188 and shark bait 3
