buckcreekmike Posted July 2, 2016 Posted July 2, 2016 Caucght this one last night about 30 minutes after midnight. Really didn't realize how big it was until I saw the picture. I am not "long arming" it either. not sure why it is sideways or how to change it. conorsixtakc, WeekendWarrior, Phil Lilley and 1 other 4
fishinwrench Posted July 3, 2016 Posted July 3, 2016 Not bad! Speaking of Buck cr. does anyone ever catch any good ones from that textbook ledge in North Buck ? I've worked it over probably 20 times over the years and can't ever recall taking a keeper off of it. Hit it a couple weeks ago and could only catch one short. Does it get pounded, or do the bass just not like it?
buckcreekmike Posted July 3, 2016 Author Posted July 3, 2016 Not sure which exact ledge you are speaking of. I know there is that shallow shoal near the back of north buck. My Pops caught these two last night. conorsixtakc 1
nomolites Posted July 4, 2016 Posted July 4, 2016 I've caught pre spawn crappie from it but no bass. Mike

Are you talking about the one halfway back-ish on the south side? With the textbook spawning pocket on the other side of the point? If so I haven't fished it during the summer but I've caught fish there in the spring. I got a few go-to summer docks not far from it.
fishinwrench Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 No I'm talking about the ledge on the North side. This one
