What a joke them people are NUTS or just dumb! It was unfishable boats coming at full speed at 10 yds from my boat. I was not a happy camper!!!!!! I told my buddy it would be crazy but it was up to him so we went fishing. Never again , so if you see me out there on a big weekend again, call the men in the white coats to come and get me??????? WOW NUTS!

Our place in in Beardsley. It probably gets more boating traffic than any other creek arm in the dam area or possibly the entire lake. It just sets up well for tubing, skiing, etc. If you want to fish it, it had better be early (before 7 or 8am) or late (after 9pm) or just suck it up and deal with it. Anytime in between those times and there is nowhere to run and hide for fisherman. Jake's Creek is another one that is not fishable during those peak boating times for it is another favorite of the waker's.

I think North Indian (where I live) is just as bad or worst.

I'm across from the Indian Point marina, and it's horrible out there.  Indian Point, Stillwater, Numerous other resorts, and the Houseboat/Giant yacht marina.

Weekday mornings (non-holiday) aren't too bad, but evenings and weekends it's better to just stay off the lake.

I couldn't tell you where exactly where on TR, as most of you know I'm geographically challenged on the water, but Champ and I have seen jet skis and people skiing at daylight before.  Yesterday we fished for a few hours on a small lake in Bella Vista.  It was pretty nuts.  We were fishing a point and had lines in the water and here comes two paddle boards with two dogs on one board with a woman.  Guy on the other board.  They paddle between us and that bank - one that my puny arm can hit with a decent cast.  She throws a tennis ball in the water and sends the dog swimming.  I explain to her that we have hooks in the water and she might not want her dogs swimming.  "Oh, we have to get to our dock."  I'm thinking, "Lady, you just paddled all around this cove, but you can't be bothered to go a few extra feet behind us?"

Donna...I saw the same thing over and over this year from the paddle crowd, boards and kayaks. Not fishing kayaks, they seem to get on water etiquette. Just casual paddlers. Flat calm mornings, no wakes rolling, and they want to go between you and the bank.

Think it is just because there are more of them in the hands of folks who don't have much experience being on the water.
