To all the walleye fishermen

Just curious how many nice 3 plus pound bass you guys catch from all the ways you guys fish for them?

 I catch all mine by accident bass fishing, mostly c-rigging and on deep diving cranks and few on jigs and spinnerbaits. My biggest 12 pounder on a suspending rouge in late February 97.

Also any you guys catch any lunkers?

My largest bass have come while fishing for bass. However, I have caught numerous keeper to four pound bass while targeting walleye. Interestingly, I am more prone to catch spots and smallmouth when targeting walleye.

Catch a few but not many. My biggest Stockton bass came on a crappie jig flipping brush in April. 5 lbs. Bass, Drum, Carp. Aren't they the same fish. Lol. Just kidding don't string me up.

My largest bass to date was caught while trolling for walleye early morning July 9th 2012, not a Monster but a solid ugly 6 lbs, shortly after about 15 minutes later my largest flat head was caught doing the same thing. 18lbs. bass near Roark and the cat near birch branch. Both released back right away, would love to have a replica done of the Bass as it was my largest lake bass but just to UGLY

I catch quite a few small bass bottom bouncing and trolling cranks. I don't recall any memorable bass, and rarely even catch keeper bass while walleye fishing. I should add, every one of them has been irritating as heck!

My best bass came out of Stockton fishing from the bank near the dam, early this spring.  1/8 Oz jig with a paddle tail plastic body.  Hit after dark, was sure I had a big jack, when it rolled up in my head lamp I wasnt nearly as impressed as I shold have been I was just ticked off.  Guessed it at around 8 lbs.  Had big ole mouth, was like takin a jig out of a coffee can.

biggest one I've ever caught on stockton was 7 lbs 13 oz cought earlier this year

Very interesting, I am a bass and crappie fishermen but enjoy catching all species. I've caught about every speicies while chasing bass and crappie and can't say that any are irritating.

 I do understand though, my dad always cusses catching bass while crappie fishing.

My buddies a I like to put a dollar on every different species caught.

Sometimes I am just fishing not targeting anything, but when I am targeting crappie or walleye for example even catching a nice Largemouth annoys me, shouldnt but it does.  Still not as bad as throwing crankbaits or jerk baits for walleye and having a muskie decide it looks tasty, they tend to cost me lures, although they are fun for a while.

Nice flattie! That IS an ugly bass. So is this one, caught while dredging the gut of a creek channel with a DD22 in search of walleye;
