Nitro 750 Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 Your new name the Walleye Guru Guide!! Nice job.
Champ188 Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 Great job, rps. Your friends are fortunate to fish with the best walleye guide on the lake.
rps Posted August 4, 2016 Author Posted August 4, 2016 Rather than post a new report with much identical information, I will add this report to yesterday's. Only 2 walleye today, 20 and 21 inches. We caught four sub legal walleye, many bluegill, bass upon bass, including two keeper large mouth and one keeper spot, and an oddity -> a mean mouth. Same depth and bait and speed. For you bass fisherman: the big flat at the mouth of the Roaring River is covered up with bass at 24 to 28 feet. dan hufferd, Champ188, Quillback and 5 others 8
rps Posted August 5, 2016 Author Posted August 5, 2016 Last report for the visitors trip. Today, August 5, we caught no walleye. Bass, including two varities of keeper bass, bluegill, and a large white bass. So ends my guide career. dan hufferd 1

I have reserved some of the fish for my lovely wife and I, and will send my guests home with a fortune in walleye fillets. I will post about the walleye chowder I made them after they leave. Does Gastons still cook the trout you caught? In the early 80's I fished out of there with my father in law. He had them cook the trout we caught and practically rented a road sign to announce we were eating our own fresh caught fish. Daryk Campbell Sr 1
dan hufferd Posted August 6, 2016 Posted August 6, 2016 Good friends, great catch ! That is a day that is hard to beat. Thanks for sharing it with all of us. If you would like you can pretend to be a walleye guide for me any day, I will buy the worms and gas
