SWPA reasoning?

They operate all of the dams as a whole.  Could be units out at other projects or lake levels are too low elsewhere to generate.  The Corps  will only override their generation for flood control operations.  In this case, it would be if Table Rock gets over 917'.  Running water is good this time of year, otherwise the DO would be much lower.

Unless I am missing something, I did not say I think you are stupid. I was responding to why the SWPA acts as it does. Now, if you are part of that organization I feel sorry for you, but I have not said that anyone other than the SWPA is stupid. Sorry, till they show me different IMO the SWPA is still stupid & continues to prove my opinion correct. Did not mean to & was not trying to offend you, if that had been my goal my post would have been much clearer & stronger it it's content..

Allrighty then.....Kansas yes it does get very busy on the holiday weekend. Like snagged I have been coming down for years....just pack your patience and you should be fine - last year there were times in the upper end I could have walked back to Lilleys just going from boat to boat :P....the advantage I have is that I stay that entire week so come late Monday and Tuesday you can almost have the lake to yourself!
