rps Posted August 27, 2016 Posted August 27, 2016 Fished from a little before 8 until noon today. Up here it was very foggy early. I spent about an hour fishing a topwater in the end of the fog. I landed a large green perch and a gar broke me off. Fortunately, my lure floated back to the surface and I recovered it. After that I went spooning for walleye. No joy there. I did, however, land a really nice large mouth that measured 21.5 inches I trolled for walleye the last hour. I am most definitely not on the fish. dan hufferd, marcus, magicwormman and 7 others 10
Tanderson15 Posted August 27, 2016 Posted August 27, 2016 Nice bass rps, sorry no walleye, maybe you caught all of them in the last few years. I'd blame it on the new boat, it has to get used to walleye scent. Your old boat could smell them from HI to the kings river give this one a chance.
magicwormman Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 Nice fish! Much bigger than anything that I've caught recently.
Fish24/7 Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 nice bass ! my walleye game is off this year too thought I had a hot pattern going trolling a few weeks ago, it turned cold pretty quick. not much love on the cranks lately, the spoon is now producing better for me but I need more fishing time to dial them in
