moguy1973 Posted March 5, 2017 Posted March 5, 2017 I picked up some of this limited release from Schalfly. It's got a whole lot going on. Lots of fighting with whether it wants to be a stout with chocolate and coffee notes or if it wants to be an IPA with the bitter piney hops. It's pretty good and different. With my wife being gluten intolerant she has found that the Stone Delicious IPA will work for her too since they process the gluten out of it. She likes there is still beer out there that is tasty that she can drink. ness and WHARFRAT 2 -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson
BilletHead Posted March 28, 2017 Posted March 28, 2017 Not drinking but it is getting bad when you walk down the isles and begin to think of your OA member friends . Please don't tell me there is a twelve pack of Johnsfolly offspring out there! At least they are a limited edition tribe, BilletHead Johnsfolly 1 "We have met the enemy and it is us", Pogo If you compete with your fellow anglers, you become their competitor, If you help them you become their friend" Lefty Kreh " Never display your knowledge, you only share it" Lefty Kreh "Eat more bass and there will be more room for walleye to grow!" moguy1973 Posted April 4, 2017 Posted April 4, 2017 First time experiencing Dogfish Head. It's absolutely amazing. They started distributing it in St. Louis last week. -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson

WHARFRAT Posted April 4, 2017 Posted April 4, 2017 Just bought the 90 min IPA, and brewing another clone to compare. The first clone was about as good as it gets! So different from West Coast IPA's. @lozcrappie

The 60 was much less harsh of an IPA than I'm used to. Had a nice sweetness to it and a very smooth finish for an IPA. I could drink that all night long whereas after about 2 of my typical IPAs I'm done. -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson
