We to a couple distilleries and decided I like Redbreast 12 year old, straight. Went to Teeling and enjoyed the stuff. Had a good time at the Guinness brewery and enjoyed eating lunch there. We to a place called the Whiskey Reserve in Dublin and they had a bottle of Pappy Van Winkle 23 year old. I was $400 a shot or you could buy the rest of the bottle, about 80 percent full, for $7500. Needless to say I did not buy any. Have been able to buy the Redbreast here in Oklahoma. Parkhills in Tulsa carries several versions, 12 years old and up. McNellies Bar and Grill has it as a top shelve option. I love it, but only drink it with rare friends.

ness Posted August 24 Author Posted August 24 Old Fashioned with Templeton Rye, ho'made brandied cherries and maple syrup instead of simple syrup. Got that idea from a friend. Flysmallie, Daryk Campbell Sr and BilletHead 3 John
