Lance34 Posted October 8, 2016 Posted October 8, 2016 Burrr! Under dressed I reckon. Got started yesterday rigging about 11:30. WT was 72-73 Went on up in a cove, up river to have shelter from the wind and just work in the front part. Went back and forth in about 10-15 fow pushing double minnow rigs about 8-10 feet down. Gonna need to start buying an extra couple dozen minnows with all these shorts swimming around. It's insane... Their becoming like a pesky fly at a picnic table. Ended with 5 in the box. The keeper size fish were slamming, running, and burying the rods. Reminded me of how stripers would do. Freaked me out everytime! Pics below. The first keeper was caught vertical jigging a stump for a short bit with a custom hand tied jig that a friend of mine from TX sent. Awesome looking jigsI I usually just keep moving this time of year. They could be here, there, or over there! God bless Dan the fisherman, Johnsfolly, Quillback and 2 others 5
Quillback Posted October 9, 2016 Posted October 9, 2016 Nice fish. It was chilly yesterday, saw a bit of frost on the top of the neighbors roof yesterday morning. Lance34 1
