Bill Babler Posted October 12, 2016 Posted October 12, 2016 RPS can tell you for sure, but I don't believe that is a dock, it may be a boat. There are at least 3 simi-homemade rigs like that fishing out of Eureka Springs. They fish Holiday Island to up above Beaver Town in the Winter. Looks like one of those rigs to me. However I may be totally off base, but believe I'm right. Randy would know for sure. http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
jpb2187 Posted October 12, 2016 Posted October 12, 2016 From looking at his FB page he caught it in March, just posted the picture to Target Walleye in Sept. Also, Babler appears to be right about the boat. bfishn and Moswimb8slinger 2

rps Posted October 12, 2016 Posted October 12, 2016 The man in the picture is Ken Greenwood, a transplant from the Wisconsin/Minnesota area. He has a pontoon boat with a modified cabin that resembles an elaborate ice house that he docks at Holiday Island. He actually has holes in the floor for vertical jigging in the winter. My walleye mentor, Chuck, and he became friends and fished together often, especially after Chuck was diagnosed with lung cancer. When Chuck passed, he was the one who cooked the walleye for the wake attendees. I have seen the mounts of the fish he has caught. He may be odd, he may be irascible, but he catches walleye. His main method is jigs with minnows in the cold water months. From December to March I would not bet against him. terryj1024, dan hufferd and Moswimb8slinger 3
Members JacobW Posted October 12, 2016 Members Posted October 12, 2016 That to me looks like one of the barges you see up around holiday island in the winter time jigging down the river channel.
