Haris122 Posted November 30, 2016 Posted November 30, 2016 I caught 3 yesterday at Suson, I think they must have stocked them Tuesday. I feel like after a few days, they can get really tough to catch. Cause a lot of people go to fish them right after stocking.
JUNGLE JIM 1 Posted January 28, 2017 Posted January 28, 2017 I don't know why I buy a trout stamp every year because I never keep them but they are fun to catch. I fished Carondelet last week and got five in about 1.5 hours including one close to 20 off one of the gazebos.I used 2lb line so when the big one hit it went wherever it wanted to. Asked the two gentleman who were using powerbait if they could move their lines but they didn't and fish crossed both lines creating a big mess. One even thought he had a bite and set the hook creating an even bigger tangle. Lucky to get that one in, clipped off my jig and let those two sort out their mess. That's why I don't fish there often even though it's five minutes from the house. Went over to Willmore and had the whole lake to myself. Caught a few bass and crappie and had no competition.
