that I have ever seen baby loons.  I've seen a lot of loons on Stockton over the years but only 1-4 in an area.  This week I saw over 30 in one group just south of the 245 bridge and they had several young ones with them.

Also last week I saw a group of maybe 20 feral hogs.  They were drinking in the first cove on the east side of Sons Creek south of Greaser Creek.  I'm bettin' the largest 4 would push 300 pounds.

I hope they do eradicate them.

Seems late in the year to see baby loons, but the way this year is going, it may be time to plant some green beans.

Taking of Feral Livestock Prohibited on Corps Kansas City District Lands in Missouri

Kansas City, MO.  The Corps Kansas City District which owns and manages wildlife habitat and public hunting lands in Missouri has announced a prohibition on the taking of feral livestock, to include feral hogs, under the Title 36 Code of Federal Regulations (Title 36).  This new regulation under Title 36 corresponds with the regulation recently enacted by the Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC).  The MDC regulation to prohibit the taking of feral livestock applies only to areas their agency owns or manages.  The Corps regulation was instituted to support the MDC effort to eradicate feral livestock from Corps lands that are managed for the benefit of fish and wildlife and to ensure consistency in regulations between Corps and MDC managed areas which are often immediately adjacent to each other. The Corps Kansas City District is part of the Missouri Feral Swine Task Force which is led by MDC.

I am totally against this, They are making it to where they expect u to buy your food. yes i know i can hunt private Property but that is being dwindled down as well because people end up trashing it.

I dont believe there # s are as good as they say when they supposedly trap either.
