I was pumped and ready to go this morning!  Got up and got ready only to find the fishing sucked.  It was Buzz's crown to be held this year.  Although I am going to get the DOJ involved in it this time around,  You can never trust that Buzz guy!   Kudos to him for catching a grand total of 3 trout.  Capps was not generous today and he had to work at it I'm sure.  I worked my magic only to catch chubs.  If we had a contest for that I would have won!  lol  Oh, by the way, those chubs were pushing 12".  I was humbled to catch only chubs and no trout.  I haven't been skunked on Capps in a long time.  I took a chance and it didn't pay off for the stretch I took to fish.  I'll get you next time Buzz!  Glad to see trythisonemv and jtram today. Hopefully I will see you guys again.  Did your brother from Chicago enjoy himself?  Oh yea, I have a picture to post on here with this thread when I get it down loaded.

It was a tough day for sure. I just hit the right stretch. I stuck with the frenchie Pheasant tail all morning and it worked. I did catch another parr marked small one today. The first in several years. Good times. Glad to be able to fish with some great guys.

If fishing was easy it would be called catching.

Yeah my brotheR had fun. He caught some chubs and minnows and had a look from a pretty decent brown on a white bugger. There are some good looking browns on there. Im going to get back down there and devote a daY To catching one big brown.

Good luck man.  I have caught a few in there over 20", but not in the last couple of years.  Here are a couple of pics that just crack me up.  Haskins you are alright with me.  Not sure about the bottom of the sign though!

SO, can I  park in the parking area by Haskins road, cross the road and fish in the Jolly Mill park area without paying the $5 fee  or is it best to walk across the main bridge,  cross through Ollie's pass (lol) to fish below the main bridge.  How far below that area are you allowed to fish ?  I'd like to fish Capps but not being sure if I'm trespassing or not makes me wary.

Thanks

bassman,  yea, you can park in the lot by Haskins road and pretty much fish where you want.  You just have to pay the parking fee if you want to park inside the park area.  Now if you pass through my gate I will have to charge you however since now I am a troll!
