I had a tournament fisherman tell me that he used Lemon Pledge on his Ranger.  It works great. So does the generic Walmart brand.  I also use McGuire's Quick Wax which works good too. My boat is 10 years old and I still get comments about how good it looks.

10 year old boat...thats almost new by my standards...mines 27 years old.....lol

I know everything about nothing and know nothing about everything!

Keep a good coat of wax on it & like they all have said, vinegar and water, takes all the water spots off and keeps hard water from building up. I tried a experiment the other day, have read that bar keepers friend, stove top cleaner with a scotch brite sponge will Clean glass shower doors like you wouldn't believe & they were right. I am going to try it on a inconspicuous spot on my motor. I believe the paint is baked on on the lower cowlings, so I'm thinking it may work. I'll let you know what I find out. Tried it & does not work.

I've never found anything that brightens up aged gelcoat like Scott's Liquid Gold.

Spray it on and just let it dry, then spray a rag lightly and wipe it down smooth.  As long as you can't feel the flake under the gelcoat she'll shine like a diamond for 2 weeks, or more if it's not in the sun.  Plastic rails, trim and dash panels, and motor cowlings like it too.

176, next year my '87 Ragin Cajun will celebrate its 30th birthday. Other than space (17' 6") it is not intimidated by the new super bass boats on the water. lol.
