i always say, "call it what your want, but you can't argue with success".  i think you moved exactly the right way to make it at least swat at it, and you were quick enough on the draw to hook it.

Yeah, that's right!  I like it.  lol

Wasn't her fault. The guide sucked. Bad choices all day, including not moving around enough.

Someone once told me that's why they call it fishing and not catching.   Plenty of days you've put me right on them.  Besides, we weren't the only ones not catching.  We didn't see a one of the Solo Pro boys setting a hook.

You may be right, Tanderson. I may just surrender the driver's seat AND the front deck and let her have it. Probably do better than the dumbazzery I've been putting out lately.

Nope.  Nope.  I pay my guide fee.  I expect to be guided...and trolled.  Although you know I don't mind being on the trolling motor when you're working on baits and it's not too windy.  Then I can hit the jig spots I'm really slobbering over.  :D

Well that depends gruber.....as long as it is one of those high back couple of slaps then that might be OK....with a total of 1.27 secs of touch, heads turned opposite each other....now anything more or any other hand / arm positioning - yeah that would be creeper alert stuff!

Remember there is no crying in fishing!

We will limit the hug giving to Donna so as to avoid any appearance of impropriety. Of course, in this age of political correctness and universal acceptance, we are bordering on sparking a riot by even suggesting that traditional standards for M/M contact are still in place.

Today would be a nice day on the lake..32 degrees feels like 27 degrees, and snow headed our way, low clouds, wind out of the east at 5mph.

I know everything about nothing and know nothing about everything!

In my 35 year of experience on the Rock, the nasty, low pressure days are the best. Many of my personal best trips have all come on nasty, windy, rainy, cloud covered days.

The worse conditions seem to produce the best results! Imo

Couldn't agree more. That's the tendency everywhere, but especially on highland reservoirs like Table Rock and Bull Shoals.
