Started out in the rain throwing a jerk bait this morning, caught a few largemouth, when the rain quit I went to Indian creek and loaded up on these whites, then started throwing a rock crawler, caught a bunch of them but only one keeper, scale said 3-6. Thought about throwing a jig early but stayed with that jerk bait. i guess we will see with this cold weather that is coming will do to the water temps. Good luck.

Very nice, Wrench's end of the lake is pretty good this time of year as well as early spring.  The best thing is now the wave makers are winterized and one can fish in relative peace.

I have had a lot of success fishing that part of the lake over the years. Been wanting to expand my knowledge of the lake, recently fished up near the new bridge and found some promising areas, problem is it takes so much time. I've found out if you concentrate on the areas you know, you'll keep finding more good locations within those areas without running all over the place.

Yeah, ya know it's good to see some different scenery from time to time but seldom do I catch more fish elsewhere than I can right here in my back yard.  So unless conditions are drastically different elsewhere I feel like it's foolish to burn up a bunch of fuel either in the truck or the boat.

The scenery doesn't get boring if you are catching decent fish.
