Saw Jeff this evening. He's doing much better than I expected for such a major deal. Getting around really well, but not fast enough to keep me away from his cold beer. :-) Had a good time chatting with him.

Thanks a bunch folks for the best wishes, it really feels good to hear that from you all.

I hope you all have time to keep me and everyone else updated on the fishing, it will be a while before I am out again, but I always enjoy reading everyone's reports.

Recovery is gong well, pain is not as bad as I expected, and I can get around using the walker.  If all goes well, I hope I can get out there again in 4-6 weeks.
