bobby b. Posted December 20, 2016 Posted December 20, 2016 I've was a weekender about 10 years ago and I recall a very low lake level back then or was told of an even lower level in that time frame. What do you guys recall or know of the lowest ever level and the low level some 10-12 years ago? My neighbors are concerned about our dock. Thanks Bobby
Nitroman Posted December 20, 2016 Posted December 20, 2016 I seem to remember ( 10 YEARS AGO OR SO ) 902 FT - MSL. In board cables on our dock were out as far as they could go & I was very concerned about our dock back then if it went any lower, it didn't. Also seem to remember way back in the 70's ( BEFORE WE LIVED HERE ) came down in the spring on a fishing trip & it was around 18 to 22 feet ( 897 to 893 FT -MSL MSL ) below normal pool. Now " THAT WAS LOW " !!!!!!! Rock View Resort Table Rock Lake Greg Pope, Owner/Operator & Fishing Guide
Sprint21fter Posted December 21, 2016 Posted December 21, 2016 My dad has seen it at 900-890's in late 80's and once in early 90's.
MOPanfisher Posted December 21, 2016 Posted December 21, 2016 http://www.swl.usace.army.mil/Missions/Recreation/Lakes/Table-Rock-Lake/Dam-and-Lake-Information/ I think this link will get you to a place where you can click on pool history it will give you the yearly minimum and maximum levels. bobby b. Posted December 21, 2016 Author Posted December 21, 2016 Thank you all - that's what I needed.
magicwormman Posted December 22, 2016 Posted December 22, 2016 April, 1985 the lake was 22 ft low. I remember it well as I caught my personal best on the Rock at 9 lbs 1 oz.
magicwormman Posted December 22, 2016 Posted December 22, 2016 The chart shows that it was 1981. I guess I've been telling a story all these years. Daryk Campbell Sr 1
merc1997 Bo Posted December 22, 2016 Posted December 22, 2016 back when flood control was the #1 priority of the corp, the lake was 900 to 905 every winter. power generation is now the #1 priority of the corp, and that is why the lake levels for the most part are high. the more water the better and it does not matter what gets flooded. we are somewhere around 6 inches short of normal rainfall for the year. bo Ben Gillispie and Hammer time 2
Guest Posted December 22, 2016 Posted December 22, 2016 I caught my PB from the kings river in Sept 2005. the lake was very low, chart shows around 902. Maybe its time that I revisit the romp hole area

Amazing to see it back then. Some of the best arrowhead hunting, err uhhh, lure hunting on the lake is what I meant to say. The exposed banks made for fantastic "lure hunting". If by a long, long shot here..... if anyone has an area to look for arrowheads please let me know. My 7 and 11 year old have never experienced arrowhead hunting like I did growing up. I've lost all of my contacts and private property places to hunt mainly due to the land being sold, people passing, etc. I've found more than my fair share, but would love to see the kids get out and find a few. The education related to finding then researching is good for them. Please send me a private message. Any help would be sincerely appreciated. magicwormman and vernon 2
