cheesemaster Posted December 26, 2016 Posted December 26, 2016 Launched at 9:45 am with my daughter that's back from college. Turned out to be a good day. She caught a nice 5-6 lb muskey, tons of whites, smallies and blacks. I missed out on the muskey. We stopped counting at 50 fish. Lots of fun and I am supper glad she decided to spend the day with me. Here are some pics. zarraspook, Royal Blue, Hammer time and 11 others 14

Ranger520vx Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 Was wondering what you were catching your bass on if you don't mind sharing.
cheesemaster Posted December 27, 2016 Author Posted December 27, 2016 Most came on a jerkbait- - blue backed - orange bellied Smithwick Rouge with chrome sides. A few came on a shaky head craw dad that was Watermelon color. dprice 1

Johnsfolly Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 Great to see you get some water/fishing time with your daughter! Catching fish was just a bonus! Great job on the bass and especially on the musky. cheesemaster and dprice 2
Ranger520vx Posted December 28, 2016 Posted December 28, 2016 Thanks a lot I was planning on throwing a jerkbait tomorrow if I get to go out. Glad to hear you were catching them on jerkbait I really like throwing them, caught some good ones last spring on one.
cheesemaster Posted December 28, 2016 Author Posted December 28, 2016 I was working the jerkbait real slow. 6 or 7 seconds between " twitches " not jerks. I didn't catch anything working it any faster than that. Everyday is different and they might want a grub or a fast jerk tomorrow. Anyway - good luck and I am looking forward to seeing your report.
