The left split was the one I liked. Of course that was 15 years ago or so.

No clue where Coconuts is, but I'm pretty sure I don't want to fish by it.

I notice Wrench is silent.  That is his water up there, that, and the upper end of Indian Creek.

Coconuts is on the west side right about where the screen cuts off the bottom of the map.  Plug is correct, anything main lake between there and the Osage is tough to fish on a summer weekend.  Your back, your equilibrium, and your electric motor thrust will be tested.

I wouldn't consider that lake after April. Mostly been there when it was nasty cold. When it was snowing Coconuts was not happening, if it was there then.

Yep, good episode.  Several 4-5 lb. fish, I think overall quality was the best I have seen on any MLF bout.  Good numbers too.  The Plopper done good.

I believe MLF records were broken at The LOZ event, I wish they would have eliminated areas of release fish where Christie was fishing, anyone of us could have done that. Lane and the other young guy on the other hand crushed them, not fishing a release area with topwater lures.

Just imagine if they'd thrown the little guy at them ?. Would have been carnage with fish still showing signs of bedding/finishing.

Watson's spoon work was interesting. Always wondered about doing it there, but figured the docks didn't have enough water.

Dave, just have to fish in middle of the week ?. Table Rock was pretty bad in June last year as well when I met you at Schooner creek, but not quite as bad as here I grant you. I think the big boat traffic helps keep the fishing great here because it eliminates a lot of fishing pressure on the fish along with stable water conditions (good spawns).

Yep. It's like a no fishing zone for 6mos of the year.

TR can be bad, but not like your pond. Schooner is one of the worst with the marina.

I do fish that cove a bit. But between there and the mouth of the gavois is about as far as I wonder from home. Toooo old to get to worked  up,and spend alot of money. I might be done after this year anyway down here. So as you all are charging up to that spot if you got a minute or so and $275.000 in your pocket I might sell you that 4 th house up mill creek off cedar point. I will even throw in the what, when and where of fishing that cove. This is a special for OA members. I might get $300,00 open market.

Did anyone else think Short was being rude by cutting Watson off from fishing the rest of that wood? Watson didn't get mad so I guess it was ok. Seemed at the time that Watson found the fish and Short capitalized on it. Warrior. I would like to think I was as good as Christie but there is no way I catch as many as he did in there. These guys are the best of the best. To put myself anywhere close to that would be wrong. I also noticed this group attacked the area differently than the first group. Not a Plopper in site. Goes to show how many different ways there are to catch them and how these guys went to their strengths to do so. Can't wait til next episode.
