Bought a new rod.

I found what I thought was a great deal on TW yesterday.  Okuma has the Concept C3-40x castin rods marked way down to under $100.  Any of you guys have any experience with these?

No, but Okuma has a pretty good reputation in making quality gear in the rod and reel market.

I am a fan of the Falcon BuCoo and they just came out with an updated model the BuCoo SR. Not sure what the SR stands for but they have upgraded the guides to the same Fuji guides they use on their Lowrider series and also added a carbon fiber wrap at the butt section of the rod. The upgrades made the rod lighter apparently (was already feathery light in previous models) and yet remains at the same price point ($100-110). I think it may officially be impossible now to beat that rod for 100 clams in a rod with a nice blank and sporting all Fuji components. Really want to get one but my rod rack is already busting at the seams and my head might be busted with a frying pan by wifey if I purchase anymore gear......that she knows about.

I have 2 Okuma Steelhead 11footers that I fish the float-n-fly on and they are just super.  I have tried the reels, BUT.  On any spinning reel, I'm just to the point that if it doesn't say either Shimano or Daiwa on it, it stays on the shelf.
