Low water + coming rain = floating debris from MDC

Maybe you shouldn't be out driving a boat on plane with all that floating brush. If you're worried, maybe stay out of those areas. Or find a safe space.

Just in case you flunked reading comprehension, the brush isn't floating yet since the rainfall forecast was changed.

Sounds like you're one of those with diarrhea of the keyboard who just can't quietly benefit from a well-meaning heads up about observed conditions and just loves to post anything to argue with and criticize others.

Guys, we all know that anytime you have extended periods of low water, there will be plenty of old, formerly sunken wood that dries out and is likely to create a boating hazard when the lake comes back up and floats it. At some point when TR comes back to pool, that could be something we all want to be aware of.

But MDC's brushpiles are only a tiny percentage of this wood. In an aging lake like Table Rock, we need all the wood cover we can get. I can't say I've ever fished an MDC brushpile intentionally, but it's good for the fishery in general to have all the cover we can get.

Most of us have boated in far more treacherous situations during the flood years.

I find stuff floating all the time on Table Rock Lake...empty beer cans and beer bottles, small logs and so on.

Are these ugly replies from two people to the guy saying how he saw that the anchored brush-piles had come loose the typical kind of criticism a fellow get's on here if you make a comment ?

Happens every year about this time. My apologies for coming across as a butt head.

Lets get back to talking fishing.

I saw quite a bit of exposed brush yesterday. My urge was to mark all of them with GPS. Now I've got 30 new way points in about 2 hrs.

I was wondering if the Conservation Dept. should be asked if they have resources to re-attach that brush to those anchors skeeter saw ? 

Hate the idea of all that stuff just being washed away when the lake level rises with Spring rains. 

If that stuff is exposed on the shores with the Lake only about what, 8ft. low, those loose brush-piles would make great cover for the fry after the spawn.
