I think it will. Regulatory tape will delay it, but they will get done one way or the other. I'd be nervous about a new deal for less if I was a Cabela's investor as it appears overvalued according to a couple articles I have read. Kinda sucks as I really like the Cabela's store in town.

Doesn't seem that too many people up here were excited when this deal was announced, what was the reaction in your area?

It is going to be an interesting year.  Gander Mt. looks like they will file for bankruptcy.   MC Sports has filed and is liquidating.  Does Bass Pro still have a big presence in Nascar?  I was looking at Stewart Hass website and didn't see a Bass Pro car, looks like Truex is with them and Furniture Row.  With the big names sorting themselves out it might be a good year for independent dealers to carve out some extra business.

Comes down to two or three big ones mostly. Pure Fishing has already killed most of the smalls with a high quantity requirements. Thinking 50-100k a year in orders or they kick them.

Who cares?????..... Bass Pro sucks!!!!! That place is an in case of emergency only.

Denny Dennis locally or Tackle Wharehouse gets 98% of my business

Go see Tim Kirchoff over at Denny Dennis and get some actual personal service from a true fisherman.

My opinions of BPS are based only on the St.Charles store as it is the only one I have ever gone to other than the one in Destin Florida.

The St. Charles store is lame in it's selection on most cutting edge products......TW gets my cash

I agree that St. Louis got hosed on their BPS store.  Heck even the one in Columbia is better than ours.  The ones in Springfield and Memphis are pretty nice though.
