Leading the BASS Open heading into the final day!!!

Good Luck! If it's meant to be it will happen. The only big derby that I've ever won, was one I almost withdrew from. I was having severe back spasm and I couldn't hardly cast. It was a Bass weekend deal and I had signed up as a non boater (3 fish limit). I somehow, (from the grace of God) managed to catch 3 nice fish. I caught all 3 fish from noon til 1 P.M. and than put my rod down and quit for the day. My boater thought I was crazy (he didn't realize how much pain I was in), I told him I would continue to fish when he had his limit. Unfortunately he only weighed in four. I ended up winning the deal and had big bass with a 4.5 SM. It only proves when it's meant to be, it will be!

I totally agree! I had the pleasure of meeting Mike after the weigh in today. What a fine young man he is and a good fisherman as well.

Thank you everyone for all the kind words and well wishes. I will post a full report tomorrow...I slept about 2 hours last night and am beat!!!  I couldn't seal the deal today but the experience and well wishes from some of the pro's was humbling. Plus the paycheck wasn't bad either!  Lol!!
