Guest Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 They both catch fish, but the older ones have a duller thud sound because if the lead rattles, the new ones have steel rattles with a higher pitch. The RK crawler has a very low thud & might be a better bait.

The Wart is better in < 6 foot of water. mixermarkb, Mitch f and fishinwrench 3 Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish

fishinwrench Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 Yep, I experimented with the RK and it didn't do so well when casting right up to the bank. For me the textbook "Wart Bite" happens about 5-8 cranks from the shoreline. You just can't beat a WW. dtrs5kprs 1
Guest Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 the square bill is better in 5-6ft of water, IMO I have all 3 on deck for each range: SQ- 2-5ft WW- 6-10ft RK- 9-12ft
