Ben Gillispie Posted March 11, 2017 Posted March 11, 2017 Goodness. I've stumbled upon one of the good lord's secret honey holes apparently. 8 more keeper crappie. Now that I know the crappie are there, I actually got tired of the dang Kentuckies cutting in line. Now we're at full on fish fry status! They did not seem to be spawning, only EATING. shark bait, Champ188, dan hufferd and 7 others 10

I gotta say I ain't NEVER seen crappie that shallow! Just bend down and pick em' up! Think of the money saved on tackle! Almost look like speckled flounder! Way to go Ben! Champ188 Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 Great job, Ben. I'm jealous as heck. Love catching crappie this time of year but just not willing to put in the work it takes to find them in these parts. You, on the other hand, did the work and are reaping the benefits.
