Did anyone get to go fishing this weekend, I went last week before the rain, and caught  3 females  with bloody eggs,  so this week should  great

I went to Orleans yesterday afternoon not much going on, only saw a couple whites caught.

I went down last night, caught 8, below Orleans. 4 were females and eggs were soft and bloody for sure.

Floated 215 to Taylor and the fishing sucked and the wind blew. Or maybe the fishing blew and the wind sucked. But either way we didn't do so good. Didn't stop us from having a good day on the river though.

My fish were from TAylor down to the second gravel shoal area. All were from current to edge of river. At the end of each drift solid strike and fish on. Even had half dozen chasers

Two friends and myself floated from 215 to Taylor Saturday morning. 90% of the 24 white bass we caught came from just above and just below Taylor. They were few and far between the further up you go. However, we spoke with a guy fishing the gravel bar across from Slagle creek and he said he had been doing well. Assuming we have similar definitions of "well" I would think A guy could get into them up there, but we sure didn't. The water clarity was maybe 12" and the river was moving really well.

I fished Orleans and Taylor both yesterday for about 4 hours walking the banks and I didn't even get a bite. Only saw one fish caught the whole time. Got my liscense checked by a conservation agent. Good to see those guys out and about doing their jobs.

In shocked you didnt catch anything. I had good time last Friday.  Going Monday as well. What were you throwing ? Was the agent a woman? If so she is really nice. Believe her name is Susie
