rps Posted March 26, 2017 Author Posted March 26, 2017 No disrespect RPS. I assumed everyone used a spinning reel for Neds. My bad. No disrespect taken. dtrs5kprs gives me no respect about my eccentricity anyway. I fished a 1/16th ounce head all day today on my casting rig. I had one professional grade overrun when I momentarily lost my head and tried to snap a cast into the wind. Quillback was throwing a 1/8th ounce and had maybe 2 yards more distance than I. In return my finger is on the line at all times and I am far more accurate with my casts. I may be eccentric, but I call that a win. dtrs5kprs, Champ188, big c and 2 others 5
Sore Thumbs Posted March 27, 2017 Posted March 27, 2017 I understand. I throw a weightless Fluke on a baitcaster exclusively. Just feels better.
