merc1997 Bo Posted March 29, 2017 Author Posted March 29, 2017 Bo...off the subject, but does your in dash flasher still run? I still have one, get the occasional strange look because of it. Can't imagine trying to run shallow water without it. yes it still does as does the one in front. however, most graphs have a flasher you can put up on the screen and they are instantaneous reading just as a flasher is. bo dtrs5kprs 1

merc1997 Bo Posted March 29, 2017 Author Posted March 29, 2017 Bo, nice fish for sure - Can you elaborate on the way you tie your jigs. Looks like you have a swivel or something between the line and the jig. I have always just tied my jig straight to the line. Thanks. you are probably looking at those that were caught on a CrazyBlitz, which is a bladed jig and you tie to the wire snap on the blade. i tie straight to a jig. bo Champ188, dtrs5kprs and cheesemaster 3
Champ188 Posted March 30, 2017 Posted March 30, 2017 the only problem is that situation has already left. got to know when it is happening and where to go. bo The runoff bite may be gone but the shallow bite is here for a while, especially in that stained water. dtrs5kprs 1
merc1997 Bo Posted March 31, 2017 Author Posted March 31, 2017 The runoff bite may be gone but the shallow bite is here for a while, especially in that stained water. you are exactly right. but you do have to figure out where they moved to and re-positioned. most of the areas that i caught bass from are fairly clear now. however, there will some areas that are still fairly dirty, and one a good sunny day, which he have not had, can be so shallow, you would swear their back should have been out of the water. i would think there might be a fair amount of 4 to 5 lb. bass caught over the weekend in the big bass event, and it will be interesting what might be caught bigger than that. bo vernon, Champ188 and dtrs5kprs 3
