Webb Outdoors Tournament 4/8

Fished the 2nd tournament qualifier and all I can say is Grind baby grind!!! The fish are in spawn mode with one thing in mind and it is not eating!  Some how I scraped up a limit worth 10.28 lbs and finished with an 8 the place check.  Junk fished with a black/blue jig- 1 keeper, 3 keepers on red Rock crawler, 1 on a homemade 3/4 oz blade with big double willow leafs.  Covered 1 mile up Kings river all the way back to Baxter.  Did catch a handful of shorts through the day.  Wt: 58 in the clear water-61 in the colored water. Nice job of beating out a limit. Donna and I fished Sunday and found conditions a lot like what you described.

Glad you made a check and didn't end up in the participation trophy/Soft Kitty group. LOL
