Members Coach_Beck Posted April 27, 2017 Members Posted April 27, 2017 Hey guys, I know this is mostly game fish board but I am doing a lesson over local traditions to end the year with and was wanting to use Nixa's Sucker Days as an example, since that is my hometown. I am trying to locate some suckers to go grab and fry up for my classes. I know the water is up right now and dirty, but any advice on whereabouts please let me know. I was down at powersite maybe few weeks ago and saw a couple school at the mouth of swan but its been a while since I tracked them like I use to. Thanks in advance, Ill also try posting in the other forums, but yall are pretty active on this one so I thought I would start here. Thanks,
Quillback Posted April 27, 2017 Posted April 27, 2017 Does this have anything to do with those time share salesmen that hang out at the main entrance at the BPS in Springfield? Grabbing suckers? HAHA. All that aside I don't have any advice on grabbin' suckers. big c, motoman, bfishn and 1 other 4
vonreed Posted April 27, 2017 Posted April 27, 2017 I would think somewhere on Bull Creek would be about the best chance to find them since it clears up so fast after a flood. About a week ago, I saw hundred up in Swan Creek just upstream of the park.
aarchdale@coresleep.com Posted April 27, 2017 Posted April 27, 2017 We used to get them up Roark creek and up Bull creek on Taney. With all this rain i think you will have a tough time finding any right now
grizwilson Posted April 27, 2017 Posted April 27, 2017 If it rains like they say it is going too, next week the hole just below the Bull Creek Bridge at Walnut Shade should be loaded. “If a cluttered desk is a sign, of a cluttered mind, of what then, is an empty desk a sign?”- Albert Einstein
