Members Woody55555 Posted May 3, 2017 Members Posted May 3, 2017 Big rains coming in and with lake close to all time highs, I'm curious as to what people are saying/believe it will do to the lake level by the next crest. Looking for any and all thoughts... got to believe we are probably going to break the all time high this week.... thoughts?
Ellros Posted May 3, 2017 Posted May 3, 2017 Depends on how widespread the rain is. Only an inch or two forecast locally. But if areas to the north get alot, or areas south, including Beaver, we could see the lake rise again. By the time the rain is forecast to start, the lake level should be around 931 or a bit lower.
176champion Posted May 3, 2017 Posted May 3, 2017 Lake is at 932.97 now. I know everything about nothing and know nothing about everything! Bruce Philips
Ketchup Posted May 3, 2017 Posted May 3, 2017 Looking south from Springfield, the skies look nice. As of here not much so far. Lots of banging tho. TinBoats BassClub. An aluminum only bass club. If interested in info send me a PM.
Flysmallie Posted May 3, 2017 Posted May 3, 2017 Heard they had 1/2 in Nixa. The James is back on the rise slowly. The Little Sac North of town is shooting up. Hopefully it just all goes away.
dtrs5kprs Posted May 3, 2017 Posted May 3, 2017 Raining pretty hard in Kimberling now. Impressive streak lightning too.
m&m Posted May 3, 2017 Posted May 3, 2017 I've been watching one heck of a light show over the dam area. I thought the Chateau was having an unscheduled fireworks display for the past 20 minutes. Ketchup it is heading your way. Mike dtrs5kprs and arsenal1477 2
arsenal1477 Posted May 3, 2017 Posted May 3, 2017 Praying for you all. My father and I are heading down on Saturday for the week for our 35th annual trip and while I am excited to get down there it is a bit subdued at the thought of what you all are going through. Sure, we have some roads closed up here in St. Louis, but you guys just keep taking a beating. We should have a nice break in weather for a few days starting Friday so I hope you guys can get out for a bit to try and enjoy it. The lake level is going nowhere for a while and bass should be moving towards the new bank if they haven't already. With the warm up coming it should prove interesting. Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers. crazy4fishin, vernon, Champ188 and 1 other 4
