30 plus years ago I fished with a fellow, Junior Willis, who made twin spins. He loved them, used them well and caught fish. For a time I poured lead and made them for my use. About 15 years ago I stopped making them. A year or two ago, I lost my last one.

I did not want to go back to pouring lead so I bought some War Eagles. Recently, those went away. I PMed Bo and inquired about NuTech twin spins.  At this time, they do not make them.

I ordered some parts and put this together without a wire bending tool.

Comments? Suggestions?

Looks good. I might would put a little more hair on it, but you've used them and should know what works better.

Junior always used black hair and attached a green spot junior pork frog that he had cut to make the frog more flexible. The minimal skirt copies the way he made his.  Probably could stand a few more strands.

Or add that trailer. You'll have an easier time finding a plastic chunk.

Good heavens yes. Haven't seen an Uncle Josh display in a long time.

Just checked Uncle Josh and found this: http://www.unclejosh.com/pork-frog-baits/

Further searching seems to indicate they simply are not available through the usual sources. Sad, really.

Probably go with a SK Rage Baby Craw.

looks good, how about communicating with Bo about wire size and pairing it with a grass jig head

The jig head in the picture is one of Bo's Pro series in 1/4 ounce. I wanted a finished bait about 3/8 ounce. I cut the weed guards off just for this one jig (it made the hair wrap much easier). Once I test the prototype, I will make others with the guards intact.

Overstockbait.com is one of the few sources of uncle Josh pork that I know of.

Jig and pig.  Would probably still work great today.

I am sure it would. I just don't know if many would voluntarily go back to the salt packed jars that rusted.
