bferg Posted July 6, 2017 Posted July 6, 2017 Glad you are ok and glad you wore your vest. I am still pretty young but have starting wearing my inflatable all the time. 2 years ago I heard a guy who had just pulled a body out of Beaver Lake say something like "I have yet to recover a body that was wearing a life jacket." It isn't a guarantee of a safe return home but it eliminates 95% of the risk. Daryk Campbell Sr 1
Daryk Campbell Sr Posted July 6, 2017 Posted July 6, 2017 I wear mine religiously while on the boat/canoe. Even while loading. I am teaching my kids to do the same. Sure, maybe nothing will happen, and look silly. But I also wear my seatbelt in the car and helmet while I bicycle and skateboard. Sure the generation before me was tougher, but a lot of them died early due to accidents. I have 3 kids to worry about. JF660R Posted July 11, 2017 Posted July 11, 2017 One of ours decided to inflate inside the storage bin. $20 refill just for... humidity I guess. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Nocturnal-FabWorx/346443168872812 Like Nocturnal FabWorx on Facebook
