Sprint21fter Posted July 1, 2017 Posted July 1, 2017 Hit the lake this morning before the monsoon hit. Me and my boy pulled a Caddey Shack day needless to say. We found a dock to park under and the whack fest commenced. Caught 10 in 12 casts. 6 keepers. When the thunder boomed they shut off for a bit. However, we point hopped and continued to find solid bites through out the day. Ended with 30 fish and 12 keepers. All Brownies and Blacks. Dragging jigs in 15-25ft did the work. Tricked a couple on a plopper when the sun popped out. My boy took home big fish bragging rights with a solid 4 lber. We scared a solid 17-18lbs today.
