Well 5 trips now and and it works perfectly.  Last weekend on the meramec in current again and it was hot out.  We stayed on it for 4 hours.  No problems.

Yesterday 4 hours fishing in the wind = no problem again.

I will say one thing.  If you hit the spot lock feature while you're moving at a pretty good clip it doesn't work as well.  It wants to get back to where you hit the button.   It would almost be better if when you hit the button it would slow you to a stop and stay there.  But hey overall I love it.  Hook a fish, hit the button.  Need to tie on a new bait, hit the button.  Need a coffee, hit the button.

I put a 80 lb Ultrex on my Ranger 188 a few weeks back. Have it a work out in Mississippi prefishing for the Crappie Masters national championship. It sure was nice for trolling down there for 8 days using the remote and cruise control. I dipped trees Saturday and Sunday here on Truman and really like the quick response of the pedal which is like the Fortrex motors I have been running for years.

Well....Mine foot peddle quit on me today.  Last week I was on the White for 4 days no problem.  Since my October 1st post I've used it at least once a week.

When it works...It rocks!

Yep, it was bound to happen Pete being you was before the serial number break.  They get that new style sensor in there it be good to go.   Mine has worked fine since.  Of course I haven't been able to fish since harvest so have t tried it since Labor Day.  Lol

How do you like the blazer fishing white River?  I'm tempted to bring mine this year for jig fest instead of the trout boat just because I have the ultrex on it.

I took my trolling motor to Tri State trolling Motor yesterday at lunch.  Got it back today at lunch and they had the updated sensor in stock.  Woohoo!!!!

They used to be about 45 minutes away and over the winter they moved one exit down the highway from my office.  Woot!! Woot!!

They do great work; they did warranty repairs on my Ulterra just as fast.  unfortunately they were 10 minutes from me on Lindbergh and now 45...beats 90 though!
