Have you tried putting a hose to the drain and back flushing it with water.  That always worked on my Champion.

Eventually the valve or pump will need service, and at that time you can rectify what's actually causing the slow drain.  Adding even more plumbing in order to band-aid a problem doesn't feel like a good thing to do.

Probably a bunch of crud built up in the fill/drain valve, and at some point the valve will fail and need to be replaced.....and the slow drain problem will be solved.

I'm shocked the valve still works, it was a table rock boat and they must have let their kids use the live wells to store shells and pea gravel there was a ton of it in the drain!

I have not tried back flushing it yet, it's on a lift with no water at this dock it will have to wait til it comes out for fall service.

Where is the boat located?
